Fly Tying Tutorial - Easy & Effective Crayfish Pattern

Fly Tying Tutorial - Easy & Effective Crayfish Pattern

This crayfish pattern is the perfect representation of a guide fly. It is quick to tie and effective for multiple warmwater species. The dumbbell eyes can be interchanged to create different sink rates for different areas of water. Fishing this fly on a floating line with a 9-12 ft leader is a great way to get the jigging motion you want out of a crayfish pattern. From carp to smallmouth this is a great mid spring to summer fly pattern.
